Amanda Bossard graduated from high school in 1992. She then began studying marine sciences at Alaska Pacific University, Anchorage. Bossard began her professional career in the field of commercial fish worker in the year 1999. She started working with the ship F/V Sunset an a65' halibut-schooner and was later converted into a salmon tender in the name of Murat Aritan. She was employed in commercial fishing since 1993. Bossard and Aritan are married now and are working together to claim their place in their business. Both of them are the direction of preserving resources and maximising profit. Otolith is a wholesale direct seafood retailer, was founded in 2007 by Bella Bossard (age three), Andre Bossard (1 year old) and Bossard's mother. Bossard had returned to Philadelphia after the birth of her two children. Her husband has a long career in the fishing industry that often means they stay separate for a period of five or more months. That's when they're focused on their environment and financial objectives.
